Valev Sein graduated with MA from the Estonian Academy of Arts in the field of painting and monumental art, Kalli Sein has the MA as a glass artist, both of whom have worked as lecturers and have more than 20 years an art studio Ideeklaas. The main activity of the studio is various commissioned work and training. They organize exhibitions and enliven cultural life in Hiiumaa.
They have been in B7 network art projects from 2011 to 2019 and are now preparing the next meeting in Hiiumaa in 2021, to start networking in a new level.
Photographer Kaja has the MA, Teacher of technical study and handicraft and she worked at school and college and also is the former CEO of the NGO Hiiukala. Hiiukala is a society uniting fishermen, local municipality and other stakeholders of Hiiumaa island. She currently works at the Valev and Kalli art studio Ideeklaas Advertising and Sales Manager. Her extensive experience and the communication circle of the native people have expanded the customer network of Ideeklaasi studio.
Community networks, daily connections are the basis of islanders‘ survival.
